Working on three columns

As you can probably see (unless you're on RSS), I've switched to a three-column layout.

I know it's a bit of a mess now, but just give me some time and I'll have it back to some semblance of normal soon.

My only complaint on it is that the design makes the whole page a little too wide, so I'm going to see if I can narrow up the sidebars a little without fucking up everything.

Why too wide? Don't you think that all that margin on the side is wasted space?

All the columns and stuff are fixed-width on this template, they don't adjust like yours. I guess I could change that, but I don't really know how to.

Anyway, when I implemented the template the width came in at just over 1000 pixels, which I thought was pushing it for a 1024 x 768 display (which most people have), so I narrowed the sidebar columns by about 30 pixels each.

I can send you my template if you'd like. I had to go in annd edit the raw css to get it. I just don't understand why blogger (and MT, which I use at work) don't offer relative templates. This fixed width is silly.

Actually, I think Blogger offers a few that are variable-width. I just prefer the fixed width because then I know my constraints on sizing for images and the like, but thanks for the offer :)

I like it. I feel slightly less lop-sided here.

But only slightly.
