Things I’ve learned from this year’s NCAA tournament

Random Thoughts style:

  • Don’t look at your bracket the first weekend. It’s always going to look like garbage and a lost cause. It’s just a fact of life. It’s probably a good thing I was in Vegas getting married that first weekend, I didn’t have time to check it after Thursday
  • For two of the three years I’ve tried to, I’ve had a better bracket than Obama. Kansas’ win tonight locked that up for me.
  • I can put together a damn good bracket. Better than some of ESPN’s analysts, at least. And I probably don’t spend more than a half hour filling it out.
  • Yes, one of the regionals was in Phoenix. No, I didn’t go. I only went in 2008 (language alert) so I could say I’ve been to one. It was a blast, but the whole thing’s too expensive IMO.

I feel like I really should have more to say about March Madness, but I don’t. Maybe because I haven’t watched much. Oh well.

And remember, kiddos, baseball season starts this week! GO ASTROS AND DIAMONDBACKS!

Food made with injustice is so tasty!

111391011 As I previously mentioned I would do, I went to Pei Wei during the protest. I’ll report on it in Random Thoughts style:

  • When we got there, just a little after 6, there was one person from the protest inside talking to the manager about it. He tried talking to people inside about the protest, but was quickly run off for loitering. Not that i blame the guy for wanting to stay inside, it was 106 out there.
  • Pei-Wei’s orange peel chicken is really, really good.
  • People eventually showed up with signs: one said something about not eating food “made with injustice.” Refer to this blog entry’s title for my thoughts on that…
  • When I walked outside to take the picture you see above, I pointed out that the fired employees didn’t call in to say they were missing work. One asked “So you want to join us?” I responded with something to the tune of “No, I think y’all are a bunch of idiots!” and walked back inside.
  • By the way, more people showed after I took that picture. There were probably 10-15 folks there total.
  • As we left, I talked a little with one of the protesters. Here are some highlights from that:
    • He asked me if I thought employees should be fired for missing work. I said “absolutely.”
    • He then asked me if I’d ever been fired (as if that was really relevant) and I said no. The guy went on to tell me that he has been four times. Which sounds crazy, he couldn’t have been much older than me and fired FOUR times, really? Wow.
    • He then brought up the economy and how hard it is to find a job, as if he thought that it should have some sway on the issue. I simply told him “Yea, I know, I just moved here and JUST got hired after looking for a job for two months.”
    • He then started talking about that “racist” SB 1070. I asked him “What part of illegal don’t you understand?”
    • It was then that I was convinced that the guy should be a talking head on the Sunday talk shows. He was a master at dodging the crux of questions.
  • It was then that I left, stuffed with food made from injustice.

So, what did I learn?

  • Protesters are stupid, and…
  • Pei-Wei’s got some awesome food.

And that’s all I’ve got to say about it. I’ll leave you with this picture of my meal:

“Don’t tase me, bro!” “Then don’t be a moron!”

(See what I’m talking about)

If you run out on to the field at any sporting event, you deserve to get tased. If not worse. Like, uh, being tackled.

Also, if you don’t want to get tasered, then keep your butt in your seat.

Random Thoughts: It’s like Twitter, but without that pesky 140 character limit!

Yes, I decided to do one of these. I figured I should post something substantial for once.

  • Concerning all the well-dressed, swastika-wielding astroturfers at these town hall meetings. I should have listened to my better judgment when it said to leave the swastika in my car, but I do not regret wearing that tuxedo to the meeting! And, yea, I should have picked out a better toupee… it’s too obvious.
  • Why do local advertisers always pick women with nasally or incredibly high-pitched voices to narrate their commercials. I swear, nails scratching a chalkboard would be better to hear than the women in their ads. At least they’re pretty. Maybe that’s why they’re picked.
  • Met a girl, thought she was grand, fell in love, found out first hand… (NSFW/audio warning)
  • So they DDoS-ed Twitter yesterday and it was down for a few hours. As a Twitter veteran who remembers the times when it was down seemingly more than it was up, I have this to say: Twitter downtime still sucks.
  • My first experience with Twitter downtime was disheartening… it was right after I signed up. I’d thought I’d broken it. In fact, I did a blog post about it
  • Looking back and reading that post, I can’t help but think one thing. Damn, I had a lot of angry/bitter vibes going on. I really do try to not be so angry and bitter… now, at least.
  • I wonder why I was so angry and bitter… hm…
  • I’d go back and delete blog posts that are angry or bitter or whatever, but I’ve got a feeling that I’d end up deleting whole months. I know myself.

And I’m spent…

Random thoughts

I’m not dead y’all. I promise.

I think I’ll leave y’all with some random thoughts. I haven’t done that in forever.

So… what’s going on in the world?

  • Well, there was that abortion doc that was murdered. I don’t get it. Defending the sanctity of life by killing someone? Yea, that makes all the sense in the world.
  • Conan’s made his re-appearance this week. Thankfully, he hasn’t missed a beat.
  • GM’s filing for bankruptcy. I owned a GM car. Not that I was trying to or anything, but let’s say that I didn’t cry when I totaled it and I don’t miss it.
  • Summer officially began a week or two ago. I consider summer to begin the first time we hit 90.
  • It’s hurricane season, so I’d better check Weather Underground. Nothing to worry about. Yet. Good.
  • We’re doing non-religious music for choir at church. We’re doing a fundraiser dinner in September we’re calling “Pasta and Pucchini” or something like that. Basically we’re going to serve spaghetti and sing opera choruses. We’ll probably pay some voice majors from Lamar to come in and do some pieces too. It should be interesting.
  • I don’t know why, but I’ve been wanting a massage really bad lately. I’ve never had one, but I’ve got a friend that does them. Maybe I shouldn’t talk to her as much. But she’s awesome and fun to talk to, so that won’t happen.

That’s all I got.

Random thoughts about Ike and anything else I decide to rant about

Howdy y'all.

That's right, folks, I'm home!

On to the random thoughts:

  • First, let me take the time to thank K T Cat and Dean for
  • As much as I love Fort Worth, damn it feels good to be home, even without A/C
  • The MLB's ad in the Chronicle is total bullshit. Let me take this time to pass on a little message to Bud Selig: FUCK YOU!
  • The only thing that's missing from making being home totally 1000% awesome is not having A/C. I sure hope the tree guys get here soon.
  • Tomorrow I'll be working with my cousin Wes to fix our fence. Wes built our fence after Rita and then hired me to help him building them. It'll be fun to work with him again.
  • I might be getting a job helping out with the recovery soon. Not only is it good money, but it's helping the area get back on it's feet.
  • After not sitting at it for a week and a half, my own computer feels foreign to me. I swear.
  • Not having A/C sucks. I'd probably vote for Obama if he sent someone to take care of the tree leaning on the house tomorrow.
  • Fort Worth to Beaumont's a long drive with the dogs... probably took about 7 1/2 hours since we hit a few backups on the way home.
  • Massey's is awesome. If you're ever in Fort Worth, go there and have a chicken fried steak. Best I've ever had I think.

That's all I can think of for now y'all.

I'll leave K T and Dean here to guest-blog for a while while I get back in the groove of things and all that.

You'll want to see Wanted

Yesterday I went and saw Wanted. It's the story of seemingly normal guy Wes Gibson (James McAvoy) who's recruited to be an assassin for an ancient group called The Fraternity.

I won't reveal too much of the plot but I'll drop some comments random thoughts style:

  • Morgan Freeman's character Sloan is bad-ass, especially when he tells you to "shoot that motherfucker!"
  • Watch the letters that fly off the keyboard when someone gets whacked upside the head with it.
  • Fox (Angelina Jolie) is hot (in a somewhat freaky way). And Jolie's performance in this flick is pretty good.
  • The special effects were awesome. Like The Matrix on crack awesome. I've never seen anything like them before.
  • The plot was pretty strong for an action movie. Had a good story that had plenty of turns you weren't expecting to see happen.

All in all, this is an awesome flick. It's just as good as The Bucket List was to me, but for totally different reasons.

I'm giving it an 8 and telling y'all that it's worth every penny you'll spend to see it at the theater, as well as the gas you put in your car, the meal you eat, and anything else related to the experience you can think of, assuming you like action flicks.

So, yea, go see it. Like now.

Random thoughts about the NCAA South Regional experience

Thought I'd do a post to sum up my experience:

  • Firstly, a humongous FUCK YOU to METRO for jacking up the price of parking at the Fannin Park and Ride unannounced on Sunday. I pull up expecting to pay the normal $2.50 and this dude comes up to me and wants $10 to park. If I was a Houston taxpayer I'd want Frank Wilson's head on a stick for that.
  • Granted the $10 from METRO was a hell of a lot better than the $20 that Reliant wanted.
  • As far as the train itself, I actually liked it. I'll do it again, just steer clear of parking there when there are major events going on.
  • I thought that this would be the best of all the regionals with a lot of close games and I end up with three double-digit wins. That was a little disappointing.
  • Concessions at Reliant are too fucking expensive. $5.50 for a Dr. Pepper is outrageous.
  • I loved the seats. Only real gripe was that there was only about four inches between rows on the risers they set up down low, so you were fighting the heads of tall dudes to see the action. The elevated court did help a lot.
  • The environment was really something, especially for the Sunday game. Friday the crowd was kind of trickling in during the early game (Texas and Stanford) and about half the building left at the half of the Michigan St.-Memphis game (as Memphis was leading 50-20), but they were all there and LOUD for the Sunday game between Memphis and Texas. Shame the outcome wasn't better.
  • My cell phone sucks for texting. Next one's got to have a full keyboard.
  • Memphis is a hell of a lot better of a team than I'd expected them to be. I'd discounted them because they were in Conference USA, but seeing them in person gave me a whole hell of a lot of respect for them. They were just dominating.
  • Wearing a Longhorns hat in public wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be but I still won't root for them when they're playing the Aggies.
  • The Memphis and Michigan State fans that I met were all really nice. I'd say the same about Stanford fans, but I don't recall talking to any of them.
  • I should have gone back to Beaumont the back way. Traffic on I-10 was pretty thick since the Memphis fans that drove were going back the same way. I ended up getting off of I-10 at Winnie and taking a two-lane highway that goes about the same route the rest of the way into town.

Well, that's all my tired mind can think of right now.

Random thoughts: Inspired by my car

Here goes:

  • Today I got an envelope from GEICO. It had FOUR insurance ID cards for the new PT Cruiser. Oddly enough, those four cards were for my current policy term which ends Saturday and not the new one which I've already made my first payment on. Seems kinda crazy, doesn't it?
  • Chrysler and GM have the buttons on their car remotes in reverse order. You wouldn't believe how many times I've locked my car when I want to unlock it.
  • Apparently the PT's previous owner had a habit of occasionally cruising through the EZ Tag lanes on Houston tollways without a tag, so I've got to show them a bill of sale that I bought the car before they'll let me get a tag for it.
  • Speaking of Houston, I'm thinking I'm gonna go over tomorrow. I've got nothing better to do. Go to my mom's, see the puppies, get taken to lunch, and goodness knows what else.
  • I started reading The Godfather last night. Not really far enough into it yet to say much about the book, but considering that it's my favorite movie I should love the book too.
  • I was called over to a lady's house to look at her computer. She said her printer's not working. The problem: Dry black cartridge.
  • That little prediction I made isn't looking so hot right now. Thank goodness I said I wouldn't post those naked pictures.
  • Jim Thompson hails Xenu on Twitter. I wonder who I should hail...
  • The Wildcatters haven't quite figured out their mail merge system for emails yet apparently. I got an email from them last week that started off with "Hey First Name!" I simply replied that I felt so loved.
  • Speaking of them, I picked up my season tickets today. They had a get together for us at Rio Rita's (a local Mexican restaurant)where we could have picked them up, but I decided to pass because their food sucks. They obviously are using a different printer, since they came in big sheets instead of a book. I thought the book was more convenient
  • I hate that I have to install QuickTime to get MP3's to work in Firefox. I hate it more that the damn thing nags me to install iTunes too.
  • I. Love. Tweetr. Best Twitter app I've ever tried out.

And that's all I feel like saying.

I am SO outta here!

Random Thoughts: Brought to you by dog vomit

Yes. That's right. Dog vomit. You'll see.

  • Is it safe to say that the Mets have pulled off one of the most monumental
  • Last night I was up a lot longer than I'd planned. Bruiser had been sleeping on my bed when he decided to throw up, so I had to run my sheets through the laundry. Fun fun fun.
  • I've been tempted to make a joke about this sign on a message board or two, but I think it's probably just a little bit too edgy.
  • Taffy's really clingy with my grandmother. It's driving her nuts right now that she's gone to Fort Worth for a funeral. Poor girl.
  • The other kids aren't happy either of course, but they've been down this road before. They'll all be happy when she gets home Wednesday.
  • Today Craig Biggio played his last game and another bit of my childhood died.
  • The Texans are 2-2. They could be 4-0 if it wasn't for all the injuries that the team's suffered, but honestly I'm just happy they're not 0-4.
  • David Carr may have a new jersey on, but he still sucks. 7 for 19 for only 40 yards in the third quarter. I'm just amazed he hasn't been sacked yet.
  • Got to see a live hockey game last night. AHL preseason game between the Aeros and Rampage. Aeros won 5-4 and I got a game puck. Was a bit surprised they were using Wildcatters pucks and not Aeros ones, but I'm told that the 'Catters will have their 5th anniversary logo on the pucks this year so they were probably trying to just use up some of the old ones.
  • Scrabulous is just about the biggest time-waster there is online.

I'm sure there's more I could say, but I didn't get enough sleep last night so cut me some slack.

Random Thoughts: Brought to you by Twitter!

One of the advantages of having Twitter is that I can send little tidbits that pop in my mind to it. Most of these are from there, but some don't.

  • I've never watched the Sopranos, but if a show I loved ended like that I'd be pissed.
  • The snooze button is only as good as the person working the alarm clock. I have a bad habit of turning the alarm off and rolling over.
  • What are the odds that Paris stays in for the rest of her sentence?
  • More importantly, what are the odds that they'll never let her out.
  • Also, what are the odds that I'd get released for sobbing uncontrollably in jail? I think the odds of me getting my ass kicked for it are much stronger.
  • Just wondering.... how do they determine if something has more cola taste than something else? Is there some sort of machine to measure that kinda stuff?
  • Ever since I transferred a car to my name I've been getting junk mail about extended warranties. Like two a week. I wouldn't mind TxDOT selling my info near as much if they were using the money to, say, build the new alignment of US 69 or to finish up making I-10 three lanes each way all the way out to Houston.
  • We need a name for a church softball team. The Blasphemers was rejected for some reason.
  • Is it just me or should people who work in a pizza place tell you when your order will be ready when you're gonna pick it up? I swear they didn't the last time I ordered one.

Ok, so almost all of them came from Twitter over the last month.

I think I'll do this more.

Random Thoughts: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut

Yes, kids, it's time for that feature that I whip out when I don't know what the fuck else to write about: random thoughts.

You can see them below the fold:

  • The 'Catters are 0-3-1 (wins - losses- OT or shootout losses) since the Texans season ended. Is that a slump or did they decide that I just needed another sucky team in my life now that The Texans are no longer playing?
  • By the time I got to Houston to help my mom with puppies that were being born, all four of them were. About right, right?
  • Oh yea, she had another dog birth a litter on Sunday. There were three of them, but one didn't make it.
  • What part of team blog do these stupid fucks not understand? Some of them will post a few times a month. Some of them haven't posted in months. If I didn't crosspost stuff the place would be dead.
  • Hospitals scare me. And so do vets offices that look like hospitals.
  • I guess that's right since going into GCVS, the place we've been taking Bear to, makes me nervous.
  • I just realized that pitchers and catchers report next month. Baseball's gonna be back soon!!!
  • Glad to see that I'm not the only person who thinks adding troops to the clusterfuck that is Iraq is a bad idea.
  • As far as what we should do? I don't know. I just have a feeling that nuking the whole damn place and letting God sort them out would be a little messy.
  • On a related note, how come the US can kill all our enemies but we insist that Israel "negotiate" and "work with" the people who want to kill them? Just don't make any fucking sense to me.
  • Enough quasi-political crap for today? Yea, I think so too.
  • 24's back next week. Yay for the Jack Bauer Power Hour!
  • No, I won't be participating in the drinking game. But I plan on doing something related for this season. More info on that coming on Sunday.

That's all I've got. :)

Random Thoughts

I haven't done this in forever... but here goes.

  • A friend of mine that moved up to Canada sent me an IM saying that I need to cut my hair after she saw this pic. Is that a sign?
  • Speaking of signs, the brakes on my car are making a grinding noise. I guess I should take it to the shop on Monday.
  • Feel free to hit the PayPal link if you feel obliged to help pay for it.
  • Should blogs that have advertising be allowed to beg for money?
  • I'll allow one exception to the above rule...... catcams.
  • Is it just me, or are the Windows Vista sounds kinda gay?
  • I forgot Poland.
  • Is it proper to tell a referee at a hockey game to go puck himself?
  • Speaking of hockey, we've got a game tonight. Are you coming?
  • Of course not, none of my three regular readers live around here.
  • You know we still have some Rita debris in our backyard. How pathetic is that?

All I've got for now...

Random Thoughts: COTC # 103

For those that aren't familiar, random thoughts is something I do about three times a year where I list anything and everything that's on my mind at the time. I also adapt the feature for when I write about episodes of 24.

Probably the biggest shocker to some of you will be that I don't have a cat myself now, but I have in the past and I do like them.

Anywho, hosting the carnival was Bruiser's idea, so he's helping me with this. He tells me that this is his way of extending a paw in friendship to the other species. He's got a lot of good ideas, he's just not good with my laptop.

"Lessee... Control+A, delete"

No Bruiser. That won't help.

Anyways, lets get this crazy train rolling.

Cats like to hide sometimes. Like in baskets or fabric, under socks or pillows.

Do mysteries involving cats sell as well as mysteries involving humans?
Just like Bruiser, cats have a great sense of just when to get in the way. *growl* Sorry, Bruiser. They can be out-witted, though.
Kittens like any little bit of sun that they can find and the grown-up ones do too. It seems to be very common.
They don't sell foot-warmers like this in stores.
We call this "the look" where I come from. Or is this more like it?
Someone always has to be different, don't they?
Where's Mills Lane when you need him?
Sometimes us humans just don't get it.
There's never anything wrong with sitting back on the porch.
Cats have a different approach to getting attention than dogs. Some cats try harder than others.
Cats may have ears, but they don't always listen.
Gardens are a really nice place to soak up the sun outside.
Cats practice catch and destroy, not catch and release like fishermen. Cat hunters (at least in this case) just take pictures.
Believe it or not, snowclones does not refer to fake snow.
Ever feel like you're on the top of the world?
I have a friend who called her old car Smudge, this is not her old car.
I hear that Jon Stewart was very disappointed when he found out about this.
What's with meatloaf? It's not meat, and it's not a loaf... I don't think.
Cats that are in someone else's territory can get nervous sometimes.
I've heard of puppy love, but a cat with men issues? aight...
A week in the life of Millie.
Socks = fun toys. Even White Sox... until they sweep your guys in the World Series.
I think I found someone to teach Bruiser how to use a computer.
Can I go outside? No, really, can I?
Forget being let out, I want in!
I'm ready for my uber-close-up!!!
Cats can't do everything.
Spring is coming and these cats have already noticed.
Cats could care less about the whole red state, blue state thing.
A cat can really lighten up a window and they love looking out of them.
Cats can be very curious.
W.W.M.D.? (I've got the right link in now... put in the trackback by accident... oops)
Well, if I remember right, there was a cat-like animal in Beauty and the Beast...
Blogging was light for two days at Mog's place.
The critters in my house wouldn't be doing this... they'd be scarfing it down.
Cats are paranoid about people thinking they're fat. They're not the only species that feels this way.
Bruiser tells me that if cats have catnip bubbles, he wants bacon bubbles.
I guess that getting above "dog-level" can be beneficial.
This is one reason why they invented digital cameras.
Some cats like to bounce up and down like a super ball.
Are they stubborn or just trying to save you some time?
Don't you sometime just want to be left alone?
Is Walter bigger than Elvis? I can tell you now that he's cuter :)
Piper's on the fence, but about what? Maybe it's what sport she wants to be in in the Cat Olympics.
Cats are very fascinating creatures, especially to kids.
Well, I've found the Cat Jazz musician, but is there a cat 3 Doors Down, Hoobastank or Toby Keith?
They didn't teach Hamlet quite like this back in high school.
Oh no, not the cone of shame. And why it was necessary. Harley will forgive you, I'm sure.
The Croc Hunter could use these footprints to track whatever beast left them.
This is what happens when you mix cats and rain.
Everybody say it with me now... awwwwwwww...
Computer time is the perfect time for your creatures to get in the way... unless you want them to... taking that picture up top with Bruiser was a lot of work.
And finally, a plug for the Carnival.

Thanks for joining us here this week, it's been a blast hosting, even when I got that headache yesterday. As always, you can check out the Carnival of the Cats homepage and next week's host, Music and Cats.

I'm off to give Bruiser a treat for being such a big help.

NOTE: I've had some issues with HaloScan sending trackbacks. If you'd like one sent for your post drop me a line at fatelvis04@gmail.com with your trackback URL and I'll try to send you one again.

EDIT: Posted the wrong link to one page... my apologies.

Random thoughts

Strap in, kiddos, this is going to be a long one.

According to this, the Palestinians have expanded their "parliament" to 132 seats so they can say that they're "more democratic" than the 120-seat Israeli equivalent. What a joke.
Casey and Chaggy, the Penguins suck.
The Stars and Flames, however, are kicking butt and taking names.
The Texans o-line sucks so bad that I'm putting David Carr in my death pool for next year.
The Texans choke-job yesterday is the worst thing I've ever seen.
Harvard may be a big deal, but C students from public universities run the world.
A court hearing I was suppossed to attend this week got pushed back, so I'm pissed. I was looking forward to getting it over with :(
But that really isn't pissing me off too bad, my now-ex did a good enough job of that yesterday.
Isn't CIFOC awesome? And Isn't Billy-Bob the Elf the greatest?
That's all I got for today, kiddos. l8r.

The triamphunt return of...

Yes... that's right my peeps... random thoughts...

My hockey team sucks. You know it's bad when they get taken behind the woodshed in an 8-0 loss.
Poor Casey, getting ditched by the girl that he was trying to set me up with at the last minute. What a shame.
Spring Training games start this week. Baseball's coming, I promise.
Why is Anna so obsessed with some words, like... um... BOINK?
Why do you get things when you're not looking for them and never get them when you want them?
Why does the above apply to women more than anything else?
My little brother and his girlfriend have been together for a year now. Good for them.
The NHL is dead. The AHL will take over the top spot.
Why do I update this thing?
Why do I find it funny when someone shocks themselves testing a power supply at school?
There are three things you can count on in life: Death, Taxes, and ECHL referee David Jones waiving off at least one good goal every game.
I should do something crazy during spring break this year, but I probably won't.
Note to self: Buy Astros tickets

That's all I got for now. I'd post more, but I gotta go out to lunch with the family. Catch y'all later.

I haven't done this in a while...

Yep, you guessed it... random thoughts!!!

Why the heck does the Cisco curiculum include something I'll probably neverr do... router programming???
Hockey season is finally here, thank goodness
Can Steven A. Smith really be any more annoying
What's wrong with you???
Am I crazy, or is it just everybody else?
What's wrong with me???
22 days may be a short time, but it's amazing what can happen in that time
That's all I got for now, see y'all later

more random thoughts

Why?

These are easy to write
How immature can people be? I mean, I go telling a group of people off, now they seem to think that they can run around and make me look bad. At least one of them rescended their remarks after I informed him that my lawyer would be contacting him about my libel suit (yes, it was that bad). Tragically, they do it to themselves too. Oh well, their loss, I really don't give a flip what they think.
I gotta call LIT tomorrow and inform them that I have taken the THEA test, required for admission into schools in the state of Texas. The odd thing is that I'm a transfer student from a Texas school ACROSS THE STREET and all schools have access to the results.
What? Hockey season STILL aint here?
Rumor is that my team, the Wildcatters, are working on an affiliation with an NHL team. If so, news should drop soon. I don't know if it's a good idea, these things can kill a playoff run if the team above you is a contender.
I'm really tired, why aint I going to bed?
What is the purpose of procrastonation?
What is the meaning of Life?*
What's up?
Did Felix Mendehlsson really not have any dates because he was busy writing music?
What's the point of having Wi-Fi at a ballpark? Who brings their laptop to a baseball game?

*Life = the cereal :)

Random thoughts

For some reason, people expect me to update this thing once in a while, so I guess I'll try to make them happy...
My grandma leaves for Seattle on Wednesday, so I'm gonna be home alone until sometimenext Monday. Oh what trouble I could get into :)
The twins are down this week from North Carolina. I don't think I've seen them in like two years, $10 says they still look good :)
The Democratic National Convention is this week, just what do they accomplish at these conventions?
Is hockey season here yet?
My motorcycle is due up for inspection this week and I need to get my hair cut, two things I'll probably end up putting off until Friday because I'm lazy like that.
I bought tickets to an Astros game next weekend thinking that they might be able to beat the Expos. I'll be meeting a girl up there, I just hope she don't end up hating me
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Should I really plug my blog shamelessly? People start to complain about me not updating it if I do.
I was told by Anna that I could:
Quote:
write about how wonderful and awesome [she is]
Is this a harsh response?
Quote:
no offense, but if i'm gonna write about how wonderful and awesome some chick is, it won't be you.

Well... That's all I got, leave some.
