I went to the Astros game yesterday. It was a day game, starting at 1 PM.
We beat the Cubs 1-0, but that doesn't matter here.
I was going with a friend of mine who lives on the north side and all week I was thinking "oh, great, I'm gonna be stuck on 45 in rush-hour traffic."
And then it hit me!!!
I've got someone with me! I can use the HOV lane.
There's an HOV entrance ramp where I usually get on 45 north from downtown anyways, so it wasn't that far out of the way and I certainly wasn't complaining about going 60 while the "regular people" were going 35.
It worked, so I aint complaining.
