Hitting large panes of glass: It's not just for the birds anymore

Ouch:

Hunter Pence will miss about a week of Spring Training workouts after enduring several cuts and lacerations on his hands and knees that resulted from falling through a glass door at his residence in Kissimmee, Fla.

Pence called it a "silly" accident, one that occurred around 9:30 p.m. ET on Monday when he hit a sliding glass door that he did not realize was closed.

Knowing how ballplayers are about pranks and the like (like being traded to Japan), I think it's safe to say that Pence will never live this one down.

All I can say is that Hunter better be thanking his lucky stars that it wasn't a lot worse.
