The fungus test came back earlier than expected.
It's a fungus, but not one of the normal ones... neither the specialist or the pathologist could identify what it was.
They took Bear off the steroids (because of their tendency to weaken the immune system) and put him on a pretty strong anti-fungal.
Our vet also had to draw a vile of blood to send to a fungal expert at LSU who can test to see what it is.
We'll know what we're looking at better after we hear back from her.
