Right about the time this posts we should be beginning to feel the effects of Edouard. I'd say if we are for sure, but I wrote this post last night and scheduled it to post now.
Anyway, here's things to watch if you want to stalk what's going on in these parts:
My Twitter - I might do some live-twittering. Depends on things. Even if not, I'll probably send a text or two to keep it semi-updated.
SciGuy - Written by the Houston Chronicle's Eric Berger, I've found it's one of the best places to watch when it comes to the tropics.
The Beaumont Enterprise - Local rag. They had really good post-Rita coverage.
KFDM, KBMT and KBTV - Local TV stations. All have video.
Weather Underground's Edouard page - Good info and graphics related to the storm.
I'll probably blog about it once we get everything back.
Update:
It's pretty much over, expecting just some rain off and on the rest of the day. I might blog in more detail later, I might not.
Bottom line: it wasn't bad at all. We had a thunderstorm roll through Sunday that was worse.
